Preston Ambulance Station

Last week in Parliament I raised with the Minister for Ambulance Services the subject of Preston ambulance station, which is more than 50 years old and in a poor state of repair. “The building has only a single entry and exit point, which means paramedics have to reverse into oncoming traffic when they are called out to an emergency. The facility is long past its use-by date and poses an occupational health and safety risk to the paramedics based there. I ask the minister to advise when the much-needed upgrade to the Preston ambulance station will occur.”
