Local crime is set to be reduced and community safety to be improved after the Andrews Labor Government provided $5,060 for a number of local organisations to fund their new projects.

Member for Preston, Robin Scott MP today congratulated the organisations for their hard work to make Reservoir a safer place.

The local organisations which will be supported by the funding includes:

West Preston Lakeside Football Club Inc.


This grant will replace and upgrade of a security alarm system to prevent break ins and theft at West Preston lakeside Football Club.

The Labor Government’s Community Safety Fund is providing more than $800,000 across Victoria to reduce local crime and improve community safety through over 100 practical and innovative projects.

The Fund is part of the Andrews Government’s $5.8 million investment in community crime prevention, aimed at tackling crime and its root causes.
